SECI Issues Tender for Setting up of 15 MW of GCRT SPV Projects on Government Buildings

Avaada, ReNew, Sprng Among Winners of 1000 MW SECI Solar Tender

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued an RfS for setting up of 15 MW of grid connected rooftop system for SPV projects on government buildings under RESCO mode under competitive bidding.

The project is to be completed in a period of nine months.

The last date to submit the bid (soft copy) is August 22, 2023. The last date to submit the bid (hard copy) is August 24, 2023. Bid opens on August 25, 2023.

The bid processing fee is INR 29,500/-. The EMD is INR 10,28,000 /-.

Several government organizations, ministries and other institutions have taken necessary steps to install grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects at their premises/buildings, to increase electricity consumption through renewable energy. As part of these initiatives, SECI has been approached by these organizations to carry out the bidding and selection of project developers through a competitive bidding process, to set up projects under RESCO mode.

The scope of work of the SPD, inter alia, includes obtaining No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Distribution Company (DISCOM) for grid connectivity, complete design, engineering, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing & commissioning of the RTSPV Project including Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the project for the term of the PPA. The O&M of the project may include wear, tear, overhauling, machine breakdown, insurance, and replacement of defective modules, invertors/Power Conditioning Unit (PCU), spares, consumables & other parts for the PPA term.
