SECI Issues Tender for Selection of Consultancy Firm for 100 MW SPV Project with 40 MW/120 MWh BESS

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender for consulting services for the selection of consultancy firm for owners engineer services for 100 MW SPV Project along with 40 MW/120 MWh BESS at Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh and 100 MW Floating Solar PV Project at Getalsud, Jharkhand.

The last date for submission of bids is July 3, 2023. Bids open on the same day, July 3, 2023.

The contract shall be signed prior to the expiry date of the proposal validity and promptly after expiry of the standstill Period, and upon satisfactorily addressing any complaint that has been filed within the standstill period.

The tender for the Getalsud floating solar project has been floated before. The plan for floating solar at Getalsud Dam started as far back as 2019. A tender was issued by SECI in February 2022. In April, 2022, SECI extended the bids submission deadline by a month. As it couldn’t achieve the desired results, SECI cancelled the tender. Finally, the tender for the floating solar project was issued again in March, 2023.
