SECI Issues Tender for 800 MW Renewable Energy with Storage

SECI Looks for Developers for Setting Up 2000 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Projects

SECI has issued an RfS for 800 MW firm and dispatchable power from ISTS-connected Renewable Energy (RE) power projects (SECI-FDRE-III) under the Standard Bidding Guidelines.

The date of pre-bid meeting is August 28, 2023. The last date of bid submission is September 29, 2023.

The last date to submit bids is September 29, 2023. Bid opens on October 5, 2023.

The tender fee is INR 29500. The tender EMD is INR 29500. The project completion period is 24 months from the PPA signing date. SECI shall enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the successful bidders selected based on this RfS for purchase of power for a period of 25 years.

Scope of Work

The scope of work for the renewable energy power developer entails land and connectivity. Under this RfS, the renewable energy power developershall set up ISTS-connected RE power project(s), including the dedicated transmission network up to the interconnection/ delivery point(s), with the primary objective of supplying renewable energy power to SECI, at its own cost and as per the provisions of the RfS and PPA. The selection of Projects would be technology agnostic.

Eligibility 

A bidder, including its parent, affiliate or ultimate parent or any group company shall submit a single bid offering a minimum quantum of cumulative contracted capacity of 50 MW and a maximum quantum of 400 MW. The cumulative contracted capacity shall be quoted in multiple of 10 MW only.
