SECI Issues Tender For 2GW Solar Projects With Storage The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has invited tenders for design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of a 5 MW(AC) grid connected saffron based Agro-Solar PV Power Plant at Pampore, Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. The notification by SECI also holds that the tender also includes operations and maintenance responsibilities for 10 years. The last date for the submission of bids is March 19, 2022 and the timing is fixed at 1400 hours. SECI notification says that the opening of techno-commercial bids will take place at 1600 hours on March 19, 2022. The pre-bid meeting has been planned for March 15, 2022. SECI has said that the complete details of the pre bid meeting will be intimated soon with a separate notification at the website of SECI. The Jammu & Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) of Department of Science & Technology is implementing a scheme for providing rooftop solar PV plants on subsidised rates. The J&K administration provides 40% subsidy to consumers for installing Solar PV rooftops under the scheme.
