However, SECI has now extended the deadline for submissions to August 30, 2022, by 1400 hours. The deadline for 1680 MWp Domestically Manufactured Solar PV Modules supply bid submission was August 19, 2022, which was extended to the August 24. However, August 24, the date for bid submission was further extended to September 7, 2022. SECI (Solar Energy Corporation of India) has extended the deadline for two major solar tenders once again. This time, one tender is for a grid-connected 30 MW Floating Solar PV (FSPV) Plants on raw water reservoirs, while the other is for the supply of 1680 MWp domestically manufactured Solar PV Modules. SECI had floated a tender for the setting up of grid-connected 30 MW Floating Solar PV (FSPV) Plants on raw water reservoirs of DVC Thermal Power Plants at Koderma, Mejia, and Raghunathpur Thermal Power stations. The deadline for bid submission was August 22, 2022. However, SECI has now extended the deadline for submissions to August 30, 2022, by 1400 hours. The scope of work of this tender includes design & engineering, procurement & supply of equipment and materials, testing at manufacturers’ works, multi-level inspections, packing and forwarding, supply, receipt, unloading, and storage at site, associated civil works, services, permits, licenses, installation and incidentals, insurance at all stages, erection, testing and commissioning of 30 MW (AC) Grid Interactive floating Solar PV Power Plant. Along with the performance demonstration with associated equipment and materials on a turnkey basis at different Premises of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), in Jharkhand and West Bengal State along with 10 (Ten) years of comprehensive operation and maintenance from the date of commissioning or Operational Acceptance, whichever is later. In this tender, 1680 MW worth of PV Modules (Domestically Manufactured Solar Cells) will be purchased, excluding the mandatory spares. The total capacity is broken down into 04 (four) packages, each of which has 420 MWp. The bidder may submit a bid for either a single package, or 420 MW, or up to two packages, or 840 MWp. The maximum number of MWp that a bidder may quote is 840 MW, and no quotes for intermediate package capacities are permitted.
