SECI on behalf of Kolkata Port Trust inviting bids for 2MW Solar Power plant at Haldia Dock Complex Premises By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Sat, Jan 7th, 2017 Brief scope of the solar power project includes design, engineering, procurement & supply, construction & erection, testing, commissioning, associated Transmission System & Comprehensive Operation & Maintenance for 10 Years. Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), on behalf of Kolkata Port Trust (KOPT) is inviting sealed bids for 2MW (AC) Solar Power Plant at Haldia Dock Complex Premises. Interested bidders have to download the official copy of RfS & other documents logging into the TCIL website. The brief scope of the project shall include design, engineering, procurement & supply, construction & erection, testing, commissioning, associated Transmission System & Comprehensive Operation & Maintenance for 10 (Ten) Years. SECI notes that bidder shall only be eligible to submit/upload the Response to RfS after logging into the TCIL portal and downloading the official copy. SECI recently launched a tender of 1000 MW capacity for development of grid-connected rooftop solar capacity for Central Government Ministries/Departments. This is the largest rooftop tender to be launched by SECI, it is expected to give a big boost to Rooftop Solar Power Generation Segment and help in fulfilling the Modi Government’s target for installation of 40 GW rooftop solar power plants by the year 2022.
