SCCL’s Three Solar Projects of 81 MW Gets Bid Deadline Extension from SECI

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has again extended the bid submission deadline for three solar projects of various capacities of the state-owned coal mining giant Singareni Collieries Co., Ltd, Kothagudem, Telangana (SCCL).

This is the third time when the nodal agency has extended the last date for submitting bids of these solar projects.

Further, the three solar projects for which SECI has extended deadline include 34 MW (AC) ground-based solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant, 32 MW (AC) OB Dump based solar PV power project, and 15 MW (AC) floating solar PV power plant for different packages at SCCL Telangana state.

The brief scope of all the three solar projects includes designing, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning and O&M.

Now, the last date and time for bid submission of 34 MW (AC) ground-based solar PV power project has been extended to June 26, 2020, till 1400 hrs from its existing date of June 12, 2020. It’s bid opening date has also been extended from June 12, 2020, to June 26, 2020, at 1600 hrs.

Besides, the deadline for 32 MW (AC) OB Dump based solar PV power project has been extended till June 29, 2020, at 1400 hrs from its existing deadline of June 15, 2020, till 1400 hrs. Also, it’s bid opening date has been extended to June 29, 2020, at 1600 hrs from the earlier June 15, 2020.

Moreover, for the third 15 MW (AC) floating solar PV power project bid submission deadline has been extended to July 1, 2020, till 1400 hrs from its existing deadline of June 17, 2020, till 1400 hrs. Besides, it’s bid opening date has also been extended from June 17, 2020, to July 01, 2020, at 1600 hrs.

Meanwhile, SECI has requested interested bidders to remain updated for any notices w.r.t. this tender document from its website.

Earlier in May also, SECI had issued a notification, extending the bid submission deadline for these 3 solar PV project tenders to be built at SCCL Telangana for a second time during the lockdown.
