SCCL Floats 107 MW Ground Mounted Solar Tender In Telangana By Chitrika Grover/ Updated On Tue, Apr 8th, 2025 Telangana GENCO Seeks DPRs To Develop 56 MW Solar Projects The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has invited bids to develop a 107 MW (AC) ground-mounted solar power project across multiple sites in Telangana. The deadline for bid submissions is April 11, 2025. The project scope includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar plants, along with comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services for 10 years. The installations will be located on both ground-based and overburden (OB) dump-based sites. Bidders must submit a single earnest money deposit (EMD) for the entire capacity. However, the selected bidder will be required to provide site-specific performance guarantees and, where applicable, advance bank guarantees. SCCL reserves the right to revise site capacities before or after contract award, with the total project cost adjusted proportionally. This tender is part of SCCL’s broader push toward green energy. The state-owned coal mining company has already commissioned 234.5 MW of solar capacity at various locations and aims to reduce its dependence on conventional energy by leveraging the solar potential in Telangana.
