While other firms, the tariff quoted INR 2.60/kWh, Avaada Energy quoted a high tariff at INR 2.61/kWh. It won 200 MW of the quoted capacity of 500 MW. SECI Looks for Developers for Setting Up 2000 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Projects The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced the results for its tranche XI bidding for the big tender for 2000 MW interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar projects in the country. Jakson, Eden Renewables, SAEL, Shiva Corporation, ReNew Power and Avaada Energy have been declared winners through competitive bidding. While SAEL and ReNew Power won 600 MW each at a tariff of INR 2.60/kWh, Eden Renewables bagged 300 MW at the same tariff. Jakson won 200 MW at a tariff of INR 2.60/kWh. Shiva Corporation secured 100 MW also at INR 2.60/kWh. While other firms, the tariff quoted INR 2.60/kWh, Avaada Energy quoted INR 2.61/kWh. It won 200 MW of the quoted capacity of 500 MW. Earlier, state-owned entity SJVN Ltd arm SJVN Green Energy won a 200 MW wind power project through competitive bidding in a 1.2 GW tender floated by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). SJVN Green Energy won the full quoted capacity of a 200 MW wind power project at the rate of INR 3.24 per unit. Apraava Energy bagged 300 MW capacity at the same tariff of INR 3.24 per unit. The other winners include Dhaani Renewables, which bagged 300 MW capacity at a tariff of INR 3.36 per kWh. The project entails an investment worth Rs 1,400 crore. The tariffs at which projects have been won for the 2 GW tender are considerably lower when compared to the tariffs at which projects were won in the 1.2 GW SECI tender in June, 2023.
