RUVNL's 1 GW Tender Sees Mahindra Susten, SAEL, Avaada Among Winners Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam (RUVNL) has declared the results for its 1 GW tender (floated in January 2023) of power from state transmission utility (STU)-connected solar power projects in the state. Mahindra Susten, Sunfree Energy (SAEL), Solarcraft Power India (Blupine Energy), Jakson, Shiva Corporation, Avaada Energy, and SJVN are the winners under competitive bidding. Mahindra Susten and SAEL have each won the capacity of 200 MW at a quoted tariff of ₹2.61 per kWh. Avaada Energy also bagged 200 MW of capacity at ₹2.62 per kWh. The other winners, Blupine Energy bagged 150 MW at quoted price of ₹2.61 per kWh while Jakson won 100 MW at ₹2.61 per kWh. SJVN, which quoted capacity of 300 MW, bagged 100 MW under the bucket-filling method. The firm had quoted ₹2.62 per kWh. Shiva Corporation bagged a capacity of 50 MW at ₹2.61 per kWh. It may be recalled that Mahindra Susten and Avaada had emerged as winners for Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam’s tender of 500 MW. Mahindra Susten claimed 100 MW at ₹2.74 per kWh while Avaada had won 140 MW at ₹2.75 per kWh. Earlier, RUVNL invited bids for the establishment of 1.5 GW (AC) ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects with Storage, to be set up anywhere in India.
