Roofsol is Awarded Three Solar Projects of 6.2 MW Cumulative Capacity

Mumbai-headquartered Roofsol Energy Pvt Ltd, which is engaged in providing ground mount and rooftop solar solutions for the commercial & industrial clients has been awarded three new projects across the northern part of India. These are for a cumulative capacity of 6.2 MW.

The firm has won a 3 MW rooftop solar project from Cedaar Textile Pvt. Ltd. The yarn manufacturing firm says that the solarization in the Ludhiana factory will lend support to its export initiatives. Roofsol has also added a project from Udaipur-based MANKIND PHARMA LTD, which is India’s fourth largest pharmaceutical company. Roofsol is presently setting up a 1.2 MW rooftop + ground mounted plant in the pharma company’s Udaipur unit.

Additionally, Roofsol has been awarded a project 2 MW rooftop solar plus ground mounted project from RAHMAN GROUP in Kanpur. The firm delves into the manufacturing of leather. This is a repeat order for Roofsol after executing more than 4 MWp of rooftop solar plants earlier for the leather manufacturer.

Roofsol Energy has set sights on executing 100 MWp + rooftop and ground mounted solar projects in the C&I segment in the current financial year.

Earlier, Spinkraft Ventures Private Limited and Roofsol Energy joined hands for a supply contract with a capacity of 60 MW. The agreement has been forged with Wattpower Systems Pvt. Ltd.
