REPLUS Engitech recently collaborated with Hero Future Energies to develop a 250MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project across three states namely, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

To implement this project, REPLUS Engitech a technology-led manufacturing start-up entered into a turnkey EPC contract with Hero Future Energies. This contract seeks to improve the stability and reliability of renewable energy sources across the three states.

This project is scheduled to be completed over the next 18 months, REPLUS plans to deploy the BESS solutions to integrate with existing solar and wind energy installations in these states, meeting specific tender conditions. This integration is expected to improve the efficiency and sustainability of renewable energy operations significantly.

“This partnership stands as a major milestone for all of us at REPLUS, and will play an important role in our growth objectives of becoming 10x in the next 2 years,” said Hiren Pravin Shah, Executive Director and CEO, REPLUS. He emphasized that the project can help to accelerate the company’s expansion plans across different geographies.

Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman of REPLUS and Bhilwara Energy Limited, also commented on the partnership, ” Leveraging our expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems, we are committed to supporting HFE’s vision and contributing to India’s renewable energy goals. Together, we aspire to set new benchmarks in efficiency and reliability, driving positive change in the energy landscape.”

REPLUS Engitech Private Limited brings extensive experience to this project, having already installed 28MWh of Battery Energy Storage Projects both in India and internationally. These projects have not only boosted green energy consumption but also provided efficient alternatives to traditional diesel generators. Additionally, the company is currently executing two BESS Microgrid projects, each of 18MWh, in Saudi Arabia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, further demonstrating its capability in managing complex energy storage solutions.
