ReneSola to Supply 5.4MW Modules for Rooftop Solar Projects in Belgium By Manu Tayal/ Updated On Tue, May 14th, 2019 These modules will be deployed by the French company on rooftop solar projects in Belgium. Shanghai-headquartered global manufacturer & supplier of green energy products, ReneSola has inked a pact to supply 5.4 MW of 310W mono PERC modules to Helexia in Belgium. These modules will be deployed by the French company on rooftop solar projects in Belgium. The energy equipment and solutions provider, Helexia has chosen ReneSola to provide its modules for the Belgian rooftop solar projects. On the projects win, Renesola, CEO, Li Xianshou said, “European investors and EPC firms for utility-scale and commercial solar parks have been our core customers for more than 10 years. We will keep adapting our production with new technologies to continue to reduce the levelized cost of energy in a fast and reliable way.” Currently, Helexia is operating over 150 solar PV power plants with a combined output of 60 MW. The company has its presence in Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Commenting on the development, ReneSola, Vice-President of Europe, Pierre-Yves Sizaire said, “We are honored to supply Helexia with 5.4 MW of our low carbon mono PERC modules for its projects.” Sizaire further added that, “ReneSola has supplied more than 7GWp of high-quality modules to Europe since 2005. We are proud to continue contributing to the drive towards clean energy in Europe.” Recently in the month of April, US-based Nautilus Solar Energy had acquired 21 MW of community solar portfolio, which was developed by ReneSola in Minnesota. This portfolio, which was spread over four sites, will incorporate both single-axis tracking and fixed tilt solar applications. Further, it is expected to come online in the fourth quarter of 2019. Nautilus will provide early-stage development capital for the projects. It will also be responsible for the long-term asset management services & maintenance of these projects.
