The last date for submitting the bid is September 13, 2022, and bids will be opened on the same day. A joint venture between the Indian Railways and Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES), REMC Ltd. has announced a tender for a land-based solar PV power plant on farmers’ or private land close to the traction substation (TSS) at a 25 kV connection (TSS-II). The total capacity of these tenders is 1.548 GW (almost 1.55 GW). The last date for submitting the bid of this land-based solar tender is September 13, 2022, and bids will be opened on the same day. The bidder shall submit bid proposal along with non-refundable Document Fees and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) complete in all respects as per the Bid Information Sheet. Techno-Commercial bids will be opened as per the Bid Information Sheet in the online presence of authorised representatives of bidders who wish to be present online. Bid proposals received without the prescribed Document Fees and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) will be rejected. In the event of any date indicated being a declared Holiday, the next working day shall become operative for the respective purpose mentioned herein. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 29,500/- (including GST) as a document fee or cost of the RFS document. Each bidder will have to pay Rs. 75,000/- per MW +18% GST as a bid processing fee. These amounts will be non-refundable. The awarded bidder will have to submit Rs. 10,68,000/MW as a Earnest Money Deposit & Rs. 16,02,000/MW as a performance bank guarantee.
