REIL Tenders for 2 MW Solar Energy Plant

REIL has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible bidders for setting up of 2 MW solar energy power plant in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL) has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible bidders for setting up of 2 MW solar energy power plant at the MES Barmer Jalipa Station, Rajasthan.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, engineering, supply, electrical work including laying of the transmission line, packing, and transportation, storage, installation and commissioning of the solar plant. The contractor shall also provide comprehensive operation & maintenance of the plant for a period of 5 years from the date of successful completion and commissioning of the project. The selected developers will have a period of 3 months from the issuance of the letter of award for the completion of work on the project.

The last date for bid submission is November 21, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on November 22, 2019. The tenders bids must also be accompanied with an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 5.75 lakh.

To be eligible for participating in the tender, the bidder should have experience of successfully having completed solar power plants during the last five years in any of the following categories:-

The bidders should have experience of one work of solar power plant capacity > 80 percent of capacity of plant capacity in NIT i.e. 1.6 MW, OR, two works of capacity > 50 percent of capacity of plant capacity in NIT i.e. 1 MW, OR, three work of capacity > 40 percent of capacity of plant capacity in NIT t i.e. 0.8 MW.

Financially, the bidder should have a minimum turnover of Rs 2 crore in the last three financial years.

In October, REIL had issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible parties for implementation of 50 MW grid-connected rooftop and small solar power plants programme for government buildings in different states/UTs of India under RESCO Model.

In August, the firm had issued a tender for the installation of 2 MW grid-connected rooftop solar projects at various government buildings in Jaipur.
