REIL Floats Tender for 7K Monocrystalline/Mono PERC Solar Modules

The Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL) has released a tender, inviting bids to procure 7,000 solar modules of minimum 380 W to 390 W made from 72 monocrystalline or mono PERC silicon solar cells. The deadline to submit bids is November 01, 2021, at 2 pm. The bids will be opened on the next day. Only online bids will be considered against this tender.

REIL is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan through their respective institutions. The company was awarded a "Mini Ratna" status in 1997 by the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Industry, for its all round performance.

Tender documents can be downloaded from REIL's website or the website of CPPP (www.eprocure.gov.in). Final bids are to be submitted on the website www.eprocure.gov.in. The bidder should have a valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC token) issued by any of the valid certifying authorities to participate in the online tender.

• Module Efficiency: More than 18% for mono crystalline/ Mono PERC

• Relative humidity: Up to 85%
• Wind speed: Suitable for site condition
• Module Manufacturer: Should be in the ALMM issued by MNRE (To be mentioned)
• Matrix of cell Arrangement: 12 X 6 (72 Nos. of Solar Cells in each Module)

Requisite qualifications for successful bidders include:

• Manufacturer (for Poly Crystalline SPV Modules): The offer shall be quoted only by the original lndian PV module manufacturer or their authorized dealers / Distributors. The manufacturer are in ALMM list approved by MNRE vide files dated 10.03.2021, 17.08.2021 and 29.09.2021 and also valid at the time of supply of material from time to time.
• Performance Bank Guarantee: Performance Bank Guarantee for 5% of Contract Value for product warranty period will be required before clearance of balance 5% payment.
• Validity: Offers must be valid for at least 45 days from the date of opening of the tender.
