REI Expo 2022 Curtain Raiser

Informa Markets India, the country’s leading exhibitions organiser, is set to host the 15th Crystal Edition of Asia’s largest expo in the RE space, the Renewable Energy India Expo 2022, from September 28 to 30 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR.

At a press meet to announce the event, Informa Markets stressed on the renewed focus on enhancing the growth perimeters of the renewable energy sector in India. Counted as a ‘change-driving’ powerhouse convocation in the renewable energy sector, the REI Expo has gained strong support from the Indian Bio Gas Association (IBA), Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), National Highway of Electric Vehicles (NHEV), World Business Council of Sustainable Development (WBCSD), Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), Bridge to India (BTI ), and among international participation, from United States Agency for International Development (USAID, Indo Latin American Chamber of Commerce (ILACC), CleanTech Business Club and Indo German Energy Forum (IGEF), to name a few. SaurEnergy is also a media partner for the event.

Many noted dignitaries like Ms. Jennifer Kay, First Secretary and Trade Commissioner at Canada High Commission, Rohit Gadre, Senior Associate, Bloomberg NEF, Ms. Babette Desfossez, Trade & Investment Commissioner, Embassy of Belgium; Dr Anuvrat Joshi, Head, Cleantech Solar, Dr Gaurav Kedia, CEO @ Indian Bio Assn,  Ms. Mare Lux, Indo-German Energy Forum were a part of the press briefing.

The REI 2022 expo will have representation from relevant sectors of renewable energy like domestic and international manufacturers, traders, buyers and professionals. The expo will be focusing on elevating the standards of IPP, Solar Cell, Solar PV module, Solar panel, Battery, EV Charger & Infrastructure, Inverter, Component, Dealer/ Distributor, System Integrator, Biomass and Wind.

Delegations from Germany, USA, Canada, Belgium & other foreign countries will be present, with Canada, Belgium & Germany scheduled to form pavilions on the expo floor. A Bio Energy Pavilion by IBA and CLEAN – Decentralized Renewables pavilion will enhance the event.

On the sidelines of the show, networking and knowledge events like the All-CEO Conclave, CTO Forum, A Finance Leadership Forum, REI Awards and three days power pack conference will occur. New launches, product demos, and free training programs are also being lined up.  The expo will also witness a 2-day training workshop pertaining to the current trending topic – Green Hydrogen by Steinbeis University, Berlin.

Sharing his views on the pre-event press conference and the REI 2022 Expo, Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said, “The pre-event press conference for REI is an opportunity to apprise stakeholders and the public in general about the importance of REI expo. The RE focus of the government is to increase self-reliance and ease of doing business  while reducing India’s dependence on solar imports.; The Indian Government launched the National Portal for Rooftop Solar to track applications for the inspection of plants. As a policy, it is mandatory for solar cell and module manufacturers to register under the Approved List of Models and manufacturers (ALMM).  Individual states and hubs of green energy have an eminent role in this progression. ”
