Learning Objectives of the 5 days training program includes:- Basic Concept of Solar Thermal Energy Collectors, Solar Thermal Power System, Solar Thermal Space Heating and Cooling, Details Specifications and Thermal Performance and O&M of Solar Thermal Systems, Performance Evaluation and O&M of Solar Desalination Systems, Key Implementation Requirements, Standards, Regulations and Procedures of solar thermal systems, Design, fabrication and installation of solar thermal systems, Financial issues, economics analysis and payback period of solar thermal systems and solar water heating systems and Hands on experience of solar thermal systems. Solar Entrepreneurs, MNRE channel partners, Senior Energy Department Officials of Govt. of India, Faculty members, Research Scholar in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Solar Energy and Officers from state Government and state Nodal Agencies can participate in the program. Training Fee per participant is Rs 4,000. There are a total of 40 seats per batch which will be offered on first come first serve basis.
