Redington Forges Partnership with Credence Solar for Solar Solutions Adoption

Redington Limited (NSE: REDINGTON), a technology solutions provider, has announced its partnership with Credence Solar, a Gujarat-based module manufacturing firm with a capacity of 500 MW PA. The partnership will pave the way for the distribution of solar panels pan India. As a part of the partnership, Redington will enable the seamless distribution of Credence Solar’s products such as high efficiency solar panels.

The partnership also entails a potential of expanding Credence Solar’s reach to other markets in India and strengthen Redington’s current portfolio of solar products. The partnership between Redington and Credence Solar will help to accelerate the mainstream adoption of solar power by businesses as well as consumers.

The firm looks at the manufacturing of higher-wattage higher-efficiency PV modules ranging from 535 W – 670 W in M10 and M12 Busbar. It claims to be the first manufacturer to start commercial production of M12 modules in India and is certified and approved by BIS & ALMM. Some of its offerings include Mono and bifacial (glass to glass with POE).

Last year end, Redington Limited had announced its cooperation with Enertech, a manufacturer of solar inverters.
