RECPDCL Invites Bids for Empanelment of Tech Consultants for Solar PV Plants

RECPDCL Issues tender to evacuate 1 GW renewable energy

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) invites bids from eligible bidders for consultancy service for “empanelment of technical consultants for undertaking project management consultancy services for setting up solar PV plants including floating solar, ground-mounted solar, rooftop solar, etc. at various locations across India for two years.

The last date for submission of EOI is May 23, 2023. The date of the opening of EOI is May 23, 2023.

RECPDCL proposes to empanel reputed technical consultants under each category with relevant solar industry experience. For category A (for projects up to 10 MW), the minimum floating solar PV capacity is 1 MW and the minimum solar PV capacity (cumulative) is 10 MW.

In category B (for projects more than 10 MW and upto 50 MW), the minimum floating solar PV capacity is 5 MW. The minimum solar PV capacity (cumulative) is 50 MW.

The net worth of the bidder for the last 4 (four) years as of 31.03.2022 should be positive.

Bidder must have an average annual turnover of Category A: INR 1.05 Cr in the past 4 (Four) financial years concerning PMC Charges on solar PV projects. Category B: INR 2.63 Cr in the past 4 (Four) financial years regarding PMC charges on solar PV projects.

Earlier, REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) floated a tender for setting up 1250 MW (1.25 GW Solar Power) of the interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process (Tranche-I) on building its own operate (b-O-O) basis.
