RECPDCL Issues tender to evacuate 1 GW renewable energy REC Limited’s subsidiary company, REC Power Development, and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has floated a tender for setting up 1250 MW (1.25 GW Solar Power) of interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process (Tranche-I) on building its own operate (b-O-O) basis. By combining thermal or hydroelectric with renewable energy and storage, the projects seek to maintain flexibility in their generation and scheduling. The last date for submitting the bid for this REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) 1250 MW tender is December 28, 2022, till 06:00 pm and bids will be opened on December 29, 2022, at 12:00 pm. For each project, the minimum quoted project capacity shall be 300 MW and a maximum quantum of 1250 MW. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 29,500/- (including GST) as a cost of the tender document, which is non-refundable. The interested bidder will also have to pay Rs 15 Lakh + 18% GST as a bid processing fee (from 300 MW and above). Each interested bidder will have to submit Rs. 4,00,000/- per MW as an earnest money deposit of the quoted capacity. The winning bidder would be required to provide a performance bank guarantee for Rs 800,000/MW of the quoted capacity. The total capacity to be allocated to a Bidder including its Parent, Affiliate or Ultimate Parent or any Group Company shall be up to 1250 MW. The minimum annual turnover should be Rs 41.45 lakh per MW for the last three financial years. Additionally, bidders must be able to generate internal resources for at least Rs 830,000 per MW of the quoted capacity as of the end of the previous financial year or at least seven days before the bid deadline. The Net Worth of the Bidder should be equal to or greater than Rs 80 Lakhs per MW of the quoted capacity, as of the last date of the previous Financial Year, i.e. FY 2021-22 or as on the day at least 7 days before the bid submission deadline.
