REC Power Development Seeks Consultant for Floating Solar Park in Delhi

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Ltd., has invited online bids for the selection of technical consultant who would provide consultancy services for a floating solar project located in New Delhi. The last date for the submission of e-bids is February 25, 2022, till 3 PM.

REC Limited, formerly Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, is a ‘Navaratna’ Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

The date of the opening of technical bids is February 25, 2022, at 3:30 PM. Interested applicant are required to submit Rs. 50,000 as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) as well as 10% of the contract value as Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG). Additionally, the tentative contact period is 12 months.

As per the technical qualification requirement mentioned in RECPDCL’s tender, applicants must have successfully provided consultancy/engineering services for floating solar PV power plant(s) for at least 500 kWp capacity. The scope of work with regards to the technical feasibility report must include the following:

• The Consultant shall conduct water quality checks (pH level, Conductivity, Resistivity etc.)
• The Consultant shall check the Power Interconnection facilities and existing infrastructure and suggest for modification required (if any) for FSPV plant grid connection.
• The Consultant shall assess the suitability of the site for installing a Floating Solar PV system, including a review of the local climatic conditions.
