Founder and Managing Director of Rayzon Solar–Chirag Nakrani is now all set to feature in Shark Tank India Season 4. The green entrepreneur is set to feature as an investor (a shark) in one of the special editions of the famous show. The show is now hosted on OTT platform-Sony Liv.

Shark Tank India has now become a popular show to show aspiring entrepreneurs proposing their new ideas to fetch fresh investments. The portrayal of Nakrani is likely to set a new example of the entry of a green energy company entrepreneur in the series. With his entry, he will become the first solar entrepreneur to make it to the show as an investor.

The company on its website claimed that the company achieved new heights under his leadership. Nakrani holds an engineering degree in environmental design and architecture and is one of the youngest yet most successful MDs of a solar module manufacturing company in the country.

Ahead in brand-building initiatives 

Interestingly, the Surat-based solar module manufacturing company has often tried innovative campaigns to remain ahead in the solar market. It was also one of the very few solar companies to sponsor IPL teams. The company first sponsored Chennai Super Kings. Later it also sponsored Gujarat Titans to increase eyeballs of the common cricket lovers towards solar energy and sustainability.

The inclusion of Nakrani in the Shark Tank series is set to set new standards and attempt to bring investments in the solar and green sectors to the mainstream.

On an expansion spree 

Rayzon Solar is a leading solar module manufacturing company from Gujarat which is now on an expansion spree. The company is now producing solar modules with different technologies ranging from mono-PERC to TOPCOn.

In an interview with Saur Energy, the management of the company also confirmed their plans to venture into solar cell manufacturing to bolster their backward integration capacity and become more self-reliant for their production capacities.
