Rays Power Infra commissions 5 MW Solar PV Project for Aryavaan Renewable Energy By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Aug 1st, 2017 The solar PV project that spreads over an area of 25 acres was executed by Rays Power on turnkey basis right from the land acquisition till the commissioning Rays Power Infra has announced that it has successfully completed a 5 MW solar PV project for Aryavaan Renewable Energy Private Ltd. The project execution work was started in October’2016 while the project was commissioned in February 2017. The solar PV project that spreads over an area of 25 acres was executed by Rays Power on turnkey basis right from the land acquisition till the commissioning. With this, the total portfolio of commissioned projects of Rays Power Infra goes up to 65 MW in the state of Uttar Pradesh and over 400 MW in India. Commenting on the milestone, Pawan Sharma, co-founder and director – projects, Rays Power Infra said, “This project is truly a watershed moment for us, considering the fact that it is commissioned under the Government of U.P. competitive bidding – 2013. Uttar Pradesh is an important market for us, thanks to the solar potential existing in the state. India aims to generate 40 per cent of its energy demand from renewable sources like solar, wind, water etc by 2022.
