Jodhpur Rail Released 1 MWp Tender For Grid Connected Rooftop Project

Jodhpur division of the North-Southwestern railway released a tender for a 1 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power plant, at Railway Stadiums, Railway Clubs, institutes, community centers, residential quarters, and other locations over JU Division.

The Jodhpur rail tender document mentioned the closing date and time for the tender to be 18th March and the bidding style is single rate for tender. The total earnest money for the tender is Rs. 364600.00. The validity of the offer is 60 days, and the tender is free of cost. The period of completion of the project is six months and the bid’s starting date is 4th March 2024.

The tender stated, “The tender is for the Supply, installation, testing, commissioning of on-grid 1MWp solar power plant including wall mounted type inverter, SPV array, Module mounting structure, Power conditioning unit, MPPT, controls, protections, interconnecting cables, switch gears, necessary features to supplement the grid power, Power factor >0.95, Operating temperature -5 to +55 deg.C, Solar meter, Net meter approved by Govt. complete with all accessories, as per attached technical specification. For the amount of 42912840.00

Special Technical Criteria

Electrical contractor license: – The contractor should have a valid electrical contractor license issued by the government and submit it along with the tender document. If a valid electrical contractor license is not submitted along with the tender document, then the offer will be summarily rejected.

Technical Eligibility Criteria:

The tender mentioned, “The tenderer must have completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work during last seven years, ending last day of month previous to the one in which tender is invited: (i)Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender, or (ii)Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender, or (iii)One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. The Definition of similar nature in this tender means “Supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of Solar Power plant with/without battery backup.”

Special Financial Criteria

The tender stated, “The financial eligibility criteria for the project to include a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or “V” whichever is less; Where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees, N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of total contractual payments in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. However, in case the balance sheet of the previous year is yet to be prepared/ audited, the audited balance sheet of the fourth previous year shall be considered for calculating the average annual contractual turnover. The tenderers shall submit requisite information as per Annexure-VIB, along with copies of audited balance sheets duly certified by the Chartered Accountant/ Certificate from Chartered Accountant duly supported by the audited balance sheet.”
