Q3 Results: Premier Energies Reports 490% Rise In Profits

Hyderabad-based solar company Premier Energies has now announced the financial results for the third quarter (Q3) of FY25. The Indian solar module and solar cell manufacturer reported a significant rise in profits for the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year 2025 (FY25). This comes close after the entry of the company into the stock market and its expansion spree.

Strong Surge in Net Profits

Premier Energies’ consolidated financial results revealed an impressive increase in net profits for Q3 FY25, reaching Rs 255.22 crore, marking an extraordinary 490.42% rise compared to Rs 43.22 crore in Q3 FY24. This substantial year-on-year (YoY) jump highlights the company’s strong financial recovery and growth trajectory.

On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, the company’s profits grew by 23.94%, as Q2 FY25 net profit stood at Rs 205.95 crore, compared to Rs 255.22 crore in Q3 FY25.

Revenue Growth on an Upward Trend

Premier Energies also demonstrated a solid increase in revenue. The company reported total revenue of Rs 1,749.38 crore in Q3 FY25, reflecting a 144.92% YoY growth from Rs 714.73 crore in Q3 FY24. Additionally, revenue saw a 12.61% QoQ increase from Rs 1,553.59 crore in Q2 FY25, indicating strong sales momentum.

Sustained Financial Performance

The company’s consistent growth in both profits and revenue signals its strengthening position as a key player in India’s solar manufacturing industry. The Telangana-based solar company now is working towards manufacturing solar modules and solar cells. It also enjoys the status of one of the early birds to venture into the Indian solar cell manufacturing market which is mostly dominated by the  Chinese solar companies. The company launched its IPO in August 2024 and entered into the stock market to raise more funds to expand. The firm has now planned to augment its solar cell manufacturing capacity with TOPCOn based technology.
