Q2 Results: Borosil Renewables Reports Dip In Revenues Indian solar glass manufacturer Borosil Renewables today announced the financial results for the latest quarter (Q2) and first half (H1). In its consolidated result, the company saw a dip in its revenues on a Year-on-Year (YoY) basis and also on a half-yearly basis. However, on a Quarter-on-Quarter (QoQ), basis, the firm reported a minor surge in its total income. Borosil Renewables reported a total income (revenue) of R 37,825 lakh. This was against its revenue of Rs 37,432 lakh in Q1FY25 and Rs 40,631 lakh in Q2FY24. Thus on a QoQ basis, the company reported a total increase in its revenue by one percent. On the other hand on a YoY basis, the firm reported a dip in its revenue by 7%. The Mumbai-based green energy company in its latest quarter (Q2FY25) reported a loss of Rs 1,312 lakh. This was in contrast to its total loss of Rs 1,423.80 lakh in Q1 of FY25. Thus, on a QoQ basis, the company was able to reduce its losses by 7.8%. On the other hand, Borosil Renewables had reported a total profit of Rs 3,047 lakh in Q2FY24. Thus on a YoY basis, the company moved from being a profitable venture to a loss-making company. Half-yearly results The company also showed weak financial performance in its half-yearly earnings too. The company in the latest H1 reported a total income of Rs 75,257 lakh. This was in contrast to its earnings of Rs 76,877 lakh in H1 of FY24. Thus, the firm reported a decline in its half yearly earnings on a YoY basis. Similar is the fate of the firm on its net profit (Profit After tax). The company reported a total loss of Rs 2,736 lakh in the latest quarter (Q2FY25). This is against the total profit of 1,894 lakh. Thus on a half-yearly basis, too the firm went down from being a profitable venture to a loss-making one.
