Punjab Invites Bids for 10 MW Grid Connected Solar Power Plants Tender By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Wed, Dec 21st, 2022 Highlights : Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) has floated a tender for 10 MW grid-connected rooftop or ground-mounted solar power plants under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model at various locations in the state. The last date for submitting the online bid is January 30, 2023, and the bid will be opened on January 31, 2023. PEDA tender for 10 MW solar plant Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) has floated 10 MW grid-connected rooftop or ground-mounted solar power plants under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model at various locations in the state. The last date for submitting the online bid is January 30, 2023, and the bid will be opened on January 31, 2023. The scope of work for setting up the solar plant of the awarded capacity is covered by this PEDA 10 MW solar tender, which also includes design and engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. There is also a warranty obligation, as well as comprehensive operation and maintenance for 25 years. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 9 Lakh per MW as an earnest money deposit/bank guarantee. The awarded bidder must provide Rs. 10 lakh per MW as a performance bank guarantee (PBG) within 15 days from the date of issuance of the allocation letter. Bids should be submitted for a total capacity between 2 MW and 5 MW. Bids with a capacity of less than 2,000 kW will be rejected. The bidders must have seven years’ worth of experience working on similar projects with ground-mounted solar power plants that are connected to the grid. Construction of transmission lines, switchyard/substation bays, solar power plant design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance are all required components of the projects. Bidders must have successfully delivered, installed, and commissioned grid-connected rooftop or ground-mounted solar power projects totaling at least 50% (cumulative capacity) of the quoted capacity for any state, a federal agency, autonomous body, or the private sector during the previous seven fiscal years. The average annual turnover of the bidder should be Rs. 1.8 crore/MW in the preceding three financial years. As of September 30, 2022, bidders must have working capital equivalent to at least Rs 1.125 crore/MW of the quoted capacity. The minimum net worth of the bidder should also be 90 lakhs/MW for the last financial year. Net Worth of the bidder shall be calculated as follows: Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses).
