Pre-bid Meeting & Site Visit Notification For 100 MW Solar Tender at SCCL

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a notification with the schedule for the pre-bid meeting and site visit for its tender regarding the development of 100 MW of solar PV power plants under different packages at Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) in Telangana.

A pre-bid/clarification meeting has been scheduled to be held at the Conference Hall, 2nd Floor, Singareni Bhavan, Lak Di Ka Pul, Hyderabad, Telangana on May 3, 2019. A maximum of two representatives from each bidding company is allowed to attend the meeting.

All prospective bidders have been advised by the nodal agency to visit the site to study the actual conditions and go through the plans/drawings connected to the present scope of work etc including power evacuation system and get acquainted with the same before attending the pre-bid meeting on May 3, 2019. And bidders seeking a visit to the site must contact the General Manager (E&M) Solar Energy at SCCL.

The bidder at the bidder’s own responsibility, cost and risk shall inspect and examine the site and its surrounding, and shall satisfy themselves fully before submitting bids as to the form and nature of the site, the geological conditions decisive for the success of the project, the means of access to the site, the loading and unloading facilities etc.

Additionally, the bidders shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances susceptible to influence or affect their bids.

SECI had issued the tender for the development of cumulative 100 MW solar PV power plants at SCCL earlier this week. The last date for bid submission is June 7, 2019, and the technical bids will be opened on the same date.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of 100 MW solar PV power plant under different packages at SCCL. The developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar plants for a period of ten years after successful commissioning and performance demonstration.
