UPNEDA Opens Bids For 10,000 Pumps Under PM KUSUM C-1 Intending to solarize 10,000 grid-connected agriculture pumps under KUSUM Component C-1, the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) recently released a tender. The tender aims to supply, install, test, and commission distributed grid-connected solar PV systems with 5 years of comprehensive maintenance. UPNEDA has set 23rd September as the last date for bid submission. In the “Scope of Work,” UPNEDA mentioned that the project covers the solarization of existing grid-connected agricultural pumps in the state under Component C-1 of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) scheme. This includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of SPV power plants with grid connectivity for solarizing agricultural pumps of various capacities. Wiring up to the distribution board from the SPV power system will be the responsibility of the successful bidder(s). The project aims to undertake the performance testing of the complete system. Additionally, the project includes the development of a remote monitoring system. The tender mandates the contractor to create this remote monitoring system to track the system’s performance post-installation. UPNEDA also stated, “It will be mandatory to submit a quarterly maintenance report along with the performance data of the solar power plant online to MNRE and/or UPNEDA in a manner and format prescribed by MNRE and/or UPNEDA.” UPNEDA To Develop Solar Project In Mau On Govt Land Also Read The tender further stated, “The modules and cells should be manufactured in India and must comply with the prevailing MNRE Approved List of Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules. Subsequent amendments and clarifications issued until the bid submission deadline are applicable for this bid.
