Some of the major beneficiary states that saw a jump in allocation under the PM-KUSUM scheme during this period include Gujarat, which witnessed an increase from ₹28.72 crore in FY 2023-24 to ₹47.96 crore in FY 2024-25 (as of 29.01.2025), bringing the total allocation to ₹1,961.39 crore in FY 2024-25 (as of 29.01.2025) from ₹1,000.58 crore in FY 2023-24. Allocation The data shared by the minister found Maharashtra, saw an increase from ₹330.21 crore to ₹1,153.90 crore in the FY 2024-25 (as of 29.01.2025) cycle. The data further revealed that allocation to Gujarat increased also increased from ₹28.72 crore in FY 2023-24 to ₹47.96 crore in FY 2024-25 (as of 29.01.2025). Jharkhand saw a major increase in financial allocation, rising from ₹2.36 crore to ₹49.62 crore. A similar trend was observed in Karnataka, where the allocation increased from ₹2.38 crore to ₹81.25 crore. Punjab also witnessed a similar increase from the previous year, with funding rising from ₹5.41 crore to ₹13.09 crore. A similar jump was observed in Uttarakhand, where the allocation increased from nil to ₹24.09 crore. Meanwhile, states like Mizoram saw their allocation increase from nil to ₹2.57 crore for the first time. Rajasthan’s allocation rose from ₹49.41 crore in the previous year to ₹280.01 crore in FY 2024-25 (as of 29.01.2025). On the other hand, Tripura experienced a drop in funding from ₹17.81 crore to nil in the FY 2024-25 (as of 29.01.2025) cycle. A slight decline was also observed in Uttar Pradesh, where the allocation decreased from ₹92.13 crore to ₹91.66 crore. Haryana, on the other hand, saw a drop from ₹429.78 crore in the previous year to ₹199.50 crore.
