Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL) has issued Expression of Interest (EoI) invite proposal to build a total 101.15 MW grid-connected solar project under PM-KUSUM Comp-A. It has sought bids until March 7, 2025 

JDVVNL latest tender includes the work of design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation & maintenance for 25 years from Commmercial Operation Date (COD) of grid connected solar power plants through RESCO mode, its associated 11 kV line to connect the plant with various 33/11 kV Sub-Stations and Remote Monitoring System (RMS) of solar power plants. The tender also mentioned the pre-fixed levelized tariff (i.e, Rs. 3.040 per kWh) will be the ceiling tariff for bidders. The tender also mandated the bidder to quote its lowest levelized tariff in Rs. per kWh, in a particular lot/ GSS wherein the bidder is eligible. The bidder would be responsible for supplying the power generated by the solar power plant to JdVVNL for 25 years (unless extended by both the parties on mutual agreement) from the date of CoD (commercial operations date) without any escalation.

The tariff has to be quoted up to three places of decimal only. If it’s quoted with more than three digits after decimal, it shall be ignored after the first three decimal places.  Additionally, the tender mentioned that the price bid is not quoted or quoted more than the pre-fixed levelised tariff (i.e, Rs. 3.040 per kWh), in such case, the price bid of the bidder shall be considered as Rs. 3.040 per kWh. These projects would be located across various locations in Rajasthan, such as Barmer, Bikaner, and Jodhpur.
