Phono Solar Announces Commissioning of PV Power Plant Outdoor Test System in Hainan, China By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Jul 5th, 2016 Phono Solar has partnered with China National Electric Apparatus Research Institute (CEI) for outdoor test system in the extreme hydrothermal weather conditions of the Hainan Province. Phono Solar signed a five-year cooperation agreement with CEI. The agreement includes development of an outdoor PV power plant test area with supporting technical meteorological monitoring equipment. This 3KW small-scale PV system will consist of a combination of multiple types of Phono Solar modules, covering monocrystalline, polycrystalline, dual-glass and black silicon modules. The effect of the natural hot and humid environment is monitored and measured in durability and power generation of each type of PV module. The company in a statement said that starting 2016, another system will be installed in Turpan, China’s Death Valley, Xinjiang. Effects of the dry and hot desert environment on this larger PV power plant will also be measured on durability and power generation of the individual panels. RUI Chunbao, the vice general manager of Phono Solar said “this cooperation with China National Electric Apparatus Research Institute, provides Phono Solar not only with precious and detailed data of real extreme PV power plant environments, and the information for optimization and prediction of power generation of PV modules. It also provides reliable technical support for further improvement of the quality of photovoltaic products of SUMEC Phono Solar.” Tags: green energy, Phono Solar, Renewable Energy, Solar, Solar Energy, Solar Industry, Solar Power, solar research, solar technology
