PFC Issues Tender for Selection of Solar Power Developers for 1250 MW Solar Projects

PFC Consulting Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of PFC Limited, a Maharatna company, under Ministry of Power, has issued a tender for the selection of solar power developers for setting up of 1250 MW ISTS-connected solar PV power projects in India under tariff-based competitive bidding under the scheme for flexibility in generation and scheduling of thermal/ hydro power stations through bundling with renewable energy and storage power notified by the Ministry of Power.

The last day for submission of bids, both online and offline is October 12, 2023. The techno-commercial bid opens on October 12, 2023.

Bidding will be single stage two envelope bidding. Land and connectivity shall be in the scope of Solar Power Developer.

The document fee is INR 25,000/ plus GST as applicable (currently 18%). The bid processing fee is INR 15,00,000 plus GST as applicable (currently 18%) for each bid from 300 MW and above,

The EMD amount is INR 4,64,000 per MW per project. The Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) is INR 23,20,000 per MW within 7 working days prior to signing of PPA.

Recently, PFC invited proposals for setting up of transmission projects on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis following single stage two envelope process of Request for Proposal (RFP). The Request for Proposal is for the selection of bidder as transmission service provider through tariff-based competitive bidding process to establish Inter-State Transmission Scheme “Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from RE Projects in Solapur (1500 MW) SEZ in Maharashtra”.
