The project is for the establishment of a 29 MW captive open access solar power plant for a steel manufacturing firm based out of Karnataka. The project is for the establishment of a 29 MW captive open access solar power plant for a steel manufacturing firm based out of Karnataka. As per the terms of the agreement, Oriana Power will be responsible for the supply of a 29 MW turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project. The firm will also look after the project lifecycle and all the phases that it encompasses, such as design, engineering, supply, and installation. The project is slated for completion in five months. Along with the EPC services, Oriana Power will deliver one year of specialised operation and maintenance services. After the project addition, Oriana Power said that the win aligns seamlessly with the company’s commitment to advancing positive environmental change and reinforcing its reputation as a dependable provider of sustainable energy solutions, thereby bolstering the nation’s journey towards a more sustainable energy future. Recently, Oriana Power Ltd. also won a contract from Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL). Under this agreement, Oriana will be responsible for setting up a 20 MW AC ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Dugdha Washery Area, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The EPC phase of the project, whose value is pegged at INR 138 crores, is slated for commissioning within 12 months.
