ONGC Invites Bids To Setup 1 GW Hybrid Power Projects By Chitrika Grover/ Updated On Mon, Aug 19th, 2024 Highlights : 23rd October 2024 is set as the last date for bids submission Maharashtra: JSW Energy Signs Pact For 1200 MW Hybrid Projects ONGC has issued a tender for the development of ISTS-connected co-located wind-solar hybrid power projects with a total capacity of 1 GW (500 MW Solar and 500 MW Wind) on a Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) basis anywhere in India. The deadline for bid submissions is October 23, 2024. ONGC said, “The commissioning period will be 36 months from the date of the Notice of Acceptance (NOA)/Letter of Award (LOA).” The comprehensive O&M contract will cover a period of 10 years from the date of full project commissioning. The contractor is required to submit a bank guarantee one month before the project’s commissioning and the start of chargeable O&M services. This guarantee must be equivalent to 10% of the annual O&M charges for the respective year. Each year, a new bank guarantee must be provided with a validity of 13 months, submitted one month before the previous guarantee expires, or the existing guarantee can be extended. The tender stipulates that “Only bidders engaged in providing similar services, as outlined in the tender, are eligible to participate in the pre-bid conference. An undertaking in the prescribed format, as mentioned in the tender, must be submitted along with pre-bid queries within the specified date.
