Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik urges PM Modi to setup NINEI soon By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Thu, Aug 25th, 2016 Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik in a letter has urged PM Narendra Modi to set up National Institute of New Energy and Innovation (NINEI) in the state capital soon. The CM wrote “I request you to take up early construction of the NINEI at Bhubaneswar by allocating necessary funds for the purpose so as to enable the institute to start its activities at the earliest.” Patnaik mentioned in his letter that Odisha government has taken several initiatives in accordance with the National Development Goals for Renewable Energy. The State Government has allocated Ac.73.680 of land free of cost in Bhubaneswar for the proposed National Institute of New Energy and Innovation, a national institute to be established by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.
