Nuclear Power Corporation Tenders for 100 kW Rooftop Solar Plant

Nuclear Power Corporation has issued a tender for the commissioning of a 100 kW rooftop solar power plant at the firms’ Kakarapar site in Gujarat.

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible bidders for the commissioning of a 100 kW rooftop solar power plant at the firms’ Kakarapar site in Gujarat.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the rooftop mounted, grid-connected solar PV system of capacity 100 kWp for captive power generation as per specification. The developers will have a period of 6 months from the date of issue of the purchase order.

The last date for bid submission is February 7, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be informed to the technically cleared bids later.

Recently, the Cochin Port Trust has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible firms for the commissioning of 350 kW grid-connected rooftop solar power systems on various buildings of the trust under the RESCO model.

The last date for bid submission is January 29, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.57 crore and all bidders will be required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 3.15 lakh along with their bids.

More recently, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued the final zone-wise list of successful bidders/ developers for its tender for the implementation of 97.5 MW grid-connected rooftop solar PV system scheme for government buildings in different zones of India under the CAPEX/ RESCO model.

This final list is prepared based on receipt of acceptance/ consent and performance security on capacities against the offered/ allocated capacity from all the successful bidders/ developers.

The total capacity of 97.5 MW tendered has been divided into three categories, 10 MW comprising of CAPEX Model (Part-A), the second is 85 MW consisting of RESCO Model (Part-B), and third is 2.5 MW comprising of CAPEX Model (Part-C).
