NTPC Tenders for EPC Package for 600 MW Solar PV Projects By Ayush Verma/ Updated On Wed, May 27th, 2020 NTPC Ltd has invited bids for the EPC Package with land for the development of ISTS grid-connected solar PV projects up to 600 MW capacity. NTPC Ltd has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB), inviting bids from eligible bidders for the EPC Package with land for the development of ISTS grid-connected solar PV projects up to 600 MW capacity. The scope of work for the selected EPC contractors will include the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning of the grid-connected solar PV projects located anywhere in India on turnkey basis. All EPC works required for the development of the solar projects along with the power evacuation system and telemetry up to ISTS substation as per detailed technical specifications and the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) Technical standards, will also be the responsibility of the successful bidders. Further, the successful bidders will have to provide the operation and maintenance of the complete solar PV plant including switchyard and power evacuation system till ISTS substation along with consumables and spare parts for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of the trial run. As per the tender, the individual project shall be of a minimum of 50 MW and can go higher from there in multiples of 10 MW. The maximum capacity of a single project has been limited to 300 MW, which is also the maximum capacity that can be awarded to a single bidder. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be intimated later to the technically cleared bidders. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for June 12, 2020, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders. NVVN Seeks Developers for 50 MW Grid Connected Solar Plant in Jharkhand Also Read To be eligible, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/ supervised erection and commissioned/ supervised commissioning of solar PV based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 40 MWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 10 MWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening. Financially, the average annual turnover of the bidder, should not be less than Rs 210 crore during the preceding three financial years as on date of techno-commercial bid opening. And the net worth of the Bidder as on the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100 percent of bidder’s paid-up share capital.
