NTPC-REL Issues Tender To Setup 960 MW WTG's In Karnataka Renewable energy subsidiary of National Thermal Power Corporation, NTPC-REL released a tender to supply and install wind turbine generators (WTG) for an inter-state transmission system (ISTS-connected) wind energy project with 960 MW (320 WTG) capacity in Karnataka (Tr-III). NTPC-REL released the tender for a detailed design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, installation testing, and commissioning of the project. The tenders invited bids from generators listed under the RLMM list, with any rating of 3.0 MW or above within the wind farm. The project includes the installation of a unit substation (USS) associated with each of the offered WTGs along with electrical works required for grid integration. Additionally, the project included civil works like foundations of towers WTGs and its associated USS, control cabins for housing control panels near the tower base (if required), etc. The comprehensive operational and management period of the project is 10 years of the supplied system under this package (i.e., WTGs with USS). It commissioning of the project included the supply of all spare parts, consumables, repairs /replacement of any defective equipment, etc., and provided a supply of mandatory spares. Whereas, the last date and time for receipt of bids comprising both techno-commercial bid and price Bid – is 06.08.2024 15:00:00 (IST) Whereas, the date and time of opening of techno-commercial bid – is 06.08.2024 15:30:00.
