NTPC REL Issues Tender for Substation Pkg for 630 MW Solar Park

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has issued a tender inviting online bids from bidders on single stage two envelope (that is, envelope-I: techno-commercial bid and envelope-II: price bid) basis
for EPC package for development of 650 MW (2 X 325 MW) grid connected solar PV projects at Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The last date and time for receipt of bids comprising both techno-commercial bid and price bid is December 12, 2023. The date and time of opening of techno-commercial bid is December 12, 2023.

The scope of work under the tender entails-
1. Design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic plant including supply of solar PV modules
2. Site – grading and clearing of vegetation, topographical survey, geotechnical investigation
3. Design and construction of foundation and erection of tracker based module mounting structure (MMS) for SPV panels, including fixing of PV Modules on MMS (tracker based) and PV modules interconnection.
4. Arranging power supply and water supply for construction purposes.

Module cleaning system including supply and installation of all accessories is also covered under the tender.

The cost of bidding documents is INR INR 22,500.

The bid security to be provided for 1 Block of 325 MW of capacity will be INR 20,00,00,000. For 2 Blocks (2 X 325 MW), INR 50,00,00,000 as bid security is to be provided.

Technical Criteria
The bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/ supervised erection and commissioned/ supervised commissioning of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 40 MWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 10 MWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six (6) months prior to the date of techno- commercial bid opening.Or
The bidder should be a developer of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 40 MWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 10 MWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six (6) months prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening.
Or
The bidder should have executed in the last ten (10) years an industrial project either as developer or as EPC Contractor in the area of power/ steel/ oil and gas/ Petrochemical/ fertilizer/cement/coal mining including coal handling plant and/ or any other process industry, of minimum financial figure as the tender document mentions.

Earlier, NTPC Renewable Energy issued a tender for land and EHV transmission system package for development of upto 2 GW ISTS connected solar PV projects in Rajasthan (tranche-III).
