Seven villages are being served through the RO plants & water ATMs viz., Sipat, Janji, Rank, Relia, Deori, Darrabhata & Gatora National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC Ltd.), has notified a tender invitation for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants with Solar Powered ATMs and Delivery of Safe Drinking Water at Seven Different Villages around NTPC Sipat, Chhattisgarh, for a period of two years. The deadline for the submission of bids is February 14, 2022, 4 pm. Scope of work Work comprises the revival of a non-functional RO plant and two non-functional solar powered water ATMs situated at Sipat village. Further, it covers Operation and Maintenance of Reverse Osmosis Plants with Solar Powered ATMs and Delivery of Safe Drinking Water at Seven Different Villages around NTPC Sipat for two years, says the document. Currently, seven villages are being served through the RO plants & water ATMs viz., Sipat, Janji, Rank, Relia, Deori, Darrabhata & Gatora. Presently, there are four RO plants situated at Sipat, Janji, Rank & Gatora Villages with a production capacity of 1000 LPH. Also, thirteen solar powered water ATMs are situated at different places nearby seven villages of NTPC Sipat. Specifications and schedule As per the schedule by NTPC: last date for receipt of any queries from bidders is February 1, 2022. Deadline for the submission of bids is February 14, 2022, 4 pm. Technical Bid Opening Date & Time is February 15, 2022, 4 pm. The schedule for price bid opening date and time shall be intimated separately. Cost of Bidding Documents is Rs. 1062/-. Earnest Money Deposit/Bid Security is Rs. 1 Lakh. Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are applicable for benefits. The contract period of work is 2 years. Reverse auction is not applicable for the same. Eligibility Criteria The NTPC document has laid down obligatory eligibility criteria for the bidder. The bidder must have earlier executed at least one such order of value more than Rs. 25 Lakh, two orders of at least Rs. 15 Lakh each, or three orders of at least Rs. 12 lakh each. Financial Criteria: The Average Annual Turnover of the bidder should not be less than Rs. 31 Lakh (Rupees Thirty-One lakh only) during the preceding three completed financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening.
