NTPC Invites Bid for 20 MW Floating Solar Plant in UP By Ankur/ Updated On Thu, Dec 20th, 2018 Successful bidder shall also be responsible for operation & maintenance of SPV Plant along with, consumables and spare parts for three years. NTPC has recently issued a tender inviting bid for the development of 20 MW floating solar power project at the reservoir of NTPC Auraiya Gas Power Plant at Dibiyapur in Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh. The last date of submission of bid is January 24, 2018. The scope of work as defined in the tender document is, design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing and commissioning of Solar Photo Voltaic Plant based on Open category PV modules and cells. Further the tender document specifies that the successful bidder shall also be responsible for operation & maintenance of SPV Plant along with electrical equipment, consumables and spare parts for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of trial run. Eligibility criteria of the tender states that the Bidder should have designed, supplied, erected solar photo voltaic (SPV) based grid connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 16 MWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 10 MWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six (6) months, the document said.
