NTPC Floats BOS Tender With Nominal Capacity of 1GW Wind Energy Project By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Mon, Nov 21st, 2022 Highlights : National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has floated a tender for the balance of system (BOS) package of an ISTS-connected wind energy project with a nominal capacity of 1000 MW anywhere in Karnataka. The last date for submitting the bid of this NTPC BOS tender is December 19, 2022, till 03:00 pm and the bid will be opened on the same day at 03:30 pm. NTPC REL Floats Tender for BOS Package of 1200 MW Wind Projects National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has floated balance of system (BOS) tender package of an ISTS-connected wind energy project with a nominal capacity of 1000 MW anywhere in Karnataka. The last date for submitting the bid of this NTPC BOS tender is December 19, 2022, till 03:00 pm and the bid will be opened on the same day at 03:30 pm. The scope of work of this NTPC BOS tender includes detailed design, engineering, micro-siting, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and proving the guaranteed performance parameters for installation of the offered wind farm starting from 33kV internal evacuation lines from the unit substation, pooling substation, central monitoring and control station (CMCS), reactive power compensating devices, wind monitoring mast(s), external EHV transmission line till ISTS substation, etc. Supply, Civil Works, and Installation of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), unit substations & SCADA are not in the scope of the wind BOS Development package. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 22,500/- as a cost of the bidding document, which is non-refundable. The reference plant of 10 MW or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least One (1) year before the date of the techno-commercial bid opening. OR The Bidder should have executed in the last Ten (10) years an industrial project either as Developer or as EPC Contractor in the area of power/ steel/ oil and gas/ petrochemical/ fertilizer/ cement or any other process industry, of the minimum financial figure as mentioned in Table below, in a single project or single work and the same should be in successful operation for at least One (1) year before the date of techno-commercial bid opening: From 50MW to 300MW: Rs. 40 Crores More than 300MW: Rs.0.14 Crores/ MW The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process at least shall be calculated as follows: 4.0 Cr. X Capacity in MW bidder is bidding X 0.7 = X Cr.
