NTPC Calls For Enlistment Of Bidders For SPV Module Packages

As per the notice inviting applications (NIA), the bidder should have manufactured and supplied solar photo voltaic (SPV) modules of cumulative capacity of 40 MWp or above.

India’s energy giant, National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has invited applications for the enlistment of solar PV Module developers for NTPC’s solar PV power projects.

The scope of work as defined in the tender document is, Manufacturing, Supply, Packing and Forwarding, Transportation, Unloading/Supervision of Unloading,  Storage/Supervision  of  Storage  at  site,  Installation  and Commissioning/Supervision of Installation and Supervision of Commissioning of Solar PV Modules

The last date for the submission of applications is December 11, 2018.

As per the notice inviting applications (NIA), the bidder should have manufactured and supplied solar photo voltaic (SPV) modules of cumulative capacity of 40 MWp or above, out of which at least one such supply order should be of 10 MWp or above capacity.

The NIA also mentions that grid connected roof-top solar power projects shall also be considered eligible for eligibility purposes.

“Net Worth of the Bidder as on the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100% (hundred percent) of Bidder’s paid-up share capital,” the NIA document mentions.

Recently invited bids from existing solar PV power plants and wind power plants for the reverse auction of purchasing 1,000 MW of electricity.

Few weeks ago, NTPC had floated bids for 1200 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Projects with interstate transmission system connectivity through NTPC generating switchyards in Western Region under OPEN category.

Prior to that NTPC has invited bids for the development of solar-wind hybrid power project at NTPC, located in Kudgi, Karnataka.
