Gurdeep Singh, the Chairman and Managing Director of NTPC, stated that the company plans to make a strong push in the renewable energy sector and repurpose its current coal-based plants at a recent event. According to a report, NTPC is also working to bring in a strategic investor for its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL).
