NTPC Invites Bids for 60 KW Rooftop Solar System at Farakka Plant

The last date of bid submission is March 18, 2019, and the technical bids will open on March 19, 2019.

The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has issued a tender inviting bids for setting up of 60 kWp (6 x 10 kW) rooftop solar systems at NTPC Farakka.

The brief scope of work for the winning bidders will include the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar PV power project of cumulative capacity 60 kWp at rooftop area of NTPC campus in Farakka.

The last date of bid submission is March 18, 2019, and the technical bids will open on March 19, 2019.

All bidders will be required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 50 thousand along with their prospective bids, to be eligible. Additionally, the bidder should meet the technical and financial criteria set by NTPC to be eligible to bid on the tender.

Recently, NTPC issued a tender inviting online bids from eligible bidders for the development of 900 kW Rooftop solar PV project at NTPC-Bongaigaon for Bongaigaon Thermal Power Project situated at Kokrajhar district of Assam.

The brief scope of work for eligible bidders will include the design, supply, erection, testing, commissioning of the 900 kW rooftop solar PV panels integrated with the grid at NTPC Bongaigaon Additionally, all bidders will also be required to provide comprehensive Operation and Maintenance  (O&M) of the project.

In February, the power company issued a Notice Inviting Applications (NIA), inviting bids from eligible firms for the enlistment of EPC Bidders for development of Solar Power Projects of NTPC. The average annual turnover of the bidder, should not be less than Rs 200 crore or in equivalent foreign currency during the preceding three financial years prior to the last date of submission of the application for enlistment.
