AP: NREDCAP Issues Tender for 35 MW Rooftop Solar PV Plants By Zulkarnain/ Updated On Thu, Apr 19th, 2018 The scope of work covers design, supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance, operation. It also includes wiring up from the SPV Rooftop system to Distribution Board. Under net metering policy of the state, New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd (NREDCAP) has announced a tender of grid-connected rooftop solar PV plants of 1 kW to 500 kW, cumulatively 35 MW, to be installed at various locations in Andhra Pradesh (AP). The total capacity of 35MW has been divided into two projects. Government and residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and social sectors; comprising of 15MW and 20MW respectively. The scope of work in the tender covers design, supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance, operation. It also includes wiring up from the SPV Rooftop system to Distribution Board. The last date for the submission of bids is on 3 May 2018. The rooftop projects for plant size range from 1 kW to 500 kW are supported with central financial assistance (CFA) from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). CFA up to 30% of benchmark cost is available for residential and institutional/social sectors – includes health, educational institutions, NGO, and others. For government buildings and institutions, the CFA is based on the achievements, whereas no CFA for C&I sector. The projects, as per the tender, shall be completed within 30 to 90 days from the date of issue of work order by the end user or beneficiary or NREDCAP.
