NLC Invites Bids for 20 MW of Solar PV Project with BESS in South Andaman By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Fri, May 12th, 2017 In its tender document, NLC mentions that the successful bidder will also provide for 33kV Switchyard and grid interconnection at the take off points of Electricity Department of Andaman & Nicobar Administration along with other scope of works for 20 MW of Solar PV Project with BESS. The Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) has tendered installation of 2 x 10 MW (AC) Grid interactive Solar PV Power Project integrated with a 28 MWhr battery energy storage system (BESS) in South Andaman (with 33kV Switchyard and grid interconnection at the take off points of Electricity Department of Andaman & Nicobar Administration). The 2 x 10 MW solar PV project with BESS will be developed at Attam Pahad and Dolly Gunj in South Andaman. The scope of work includes Design, Engineering, Manufacture, Inspection at supplier’s works, supply, insurance, transport, storage, erection, testing, commissioning, along with Operation and Maintenance of the entire system for 25 years including 1 warranty period. The bid submission deadline is 27th June, 2017. The project completion timeframe is eighteen months from the date of letter of award.
