NIWE to provide 100 internships in the field of wind and solar energy every year By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Jan 3rd, 2017 NIWE-AAP will provide opportunities for the students to work with scientists/engineers on NIWE’s projects under WEI and DI National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE) has announced that to encourage students choose renewable energy as their career option, it will provide 100 internships in the field of wind and solar energy every year. The internship will be called as “NIWE- Academic Associate Programme (AAP)”. NIWE-AAP will provide opportunities for the students to work with scientists/engineers on NIWE’s projects under Work-Experience Internship (WEI) and Dissertation Internship (DI). Students from B.E./B.Tech./Post Graduate science stream (Physics, renewable energy, energy and environmental courses) Students from IITs, NITs, BITS, Central universities & Other Recognized Universities can apply for the internship. They will get stipend of Rs.3, 542/ per month. Post graduate courses of engineering (ME/MTech/MS) and management streams. Students from IITs, NITs, BITS, Central universities & Other Recognized Universities can also participate. According to NIWE they will get stipend of Rs.4, 984/ per month.
